It's that time of the year again to frock on or frock off. That's right it's the Melbourne Cup Hash. Where: Wheelie Bens 4 Goshawk Loop Leaving the starting barrier: 6pm Best you bring a torch and your finest race outfits on on!!
Well after lasts weeks shamozle of a trail, it was decided that DIY should have to host Hash a second week in a row. Before the run everyone was introduced several new and exciting Hash run symbols, although judging by the looks of confusion it was lucky several weren’t used. The run, set by Tightarse was probably the best Hash run ever. Plenty of checks, and a few of the brilliant, but yet to be named check backs. Beanflicka set a cracking pace and was heard several times saying with delight how much she loved getting most of the checks. Virgin Mary was having trouble keeping up, as he was appearing to be scouting locations for his new TV show, Broome Hash Pickers, checking through various cyclone clean up piles along the way. He found a rod holder with a built in drink holder which proved most handy at the Hash Holt in Solway Park.
As the run continued with even more checks, Torn Hole decided to impress us with her impromptu performance of superman. Lucky the hard concrete path was there to break her fall, she really could have hurt herself.
RAing the circle was Virgin Mary, a task made harder by Beanflickas constant need to be charged. There was a Virgin, NN Stevo, who like last weeks virgin, seemed to not have missed the stolen stone to dance around. There were charges for returnees. Charges for the two despondent Irish Hashers, Forcefingers and NN Stevo for being knocked out of the world cup. Beanflicka enjoyed an icechair for her dummy spit. Slocum had a charge for falling off his scooter, and wheelybin had one I think for his carer being on the phone through the whole circle, thus avoiding being named again.
Nosh was a fantastic dish of chicken, with added chicken, served with rice. The dogs were left to eat the two carrots, on standby in case any vegetarians turned up.
Hare: DIY Monday's run from 12 Cotter Court, Woods Drive Ghetto at usual FST (5:45) Nice dogs welcome, if any veggos are attending can you let me know or else you'll be eating plain spaghetti On on DIY
Hares: NotGettingAny & his mum (there's a downdown right there!!!) Where: 53 lorikeet in Roebuck, get there at 5:30pm for a 6pm run. Bring torches, don't bring dogs. Footy finals theme so come dressed in your teams colours. on on :)
Howdy Hashers!!! Firstly well done & thanks to all the brave and balanced Hashers and NN Ringins that battled their way into Dragon Boat QUARTER FINALS without even a glimpse of a capsize!! It's quite possibly my favourite Broome event and never ceases to give me warm fuzzies at how great (and accepting LOL!) our community is!!! Ok enough warm fuzzy soppy crap, here's the short sharp shiny guts of the run details... Hares: NN Jen & Quickie Where: 70 Lullfitz Drive (Razor Tits' old house) When: usual usual What: I think no dogs - perhaps check with the Hares via Facebook if you want to bring one? ON ON!!!!
Hares: Faucet + Fanta Pants Where: Zanders, Cable Beach Nosh: Swiss delicacy but carnivores only! (ie vegos need to BYO plants) For a start at 5:45pm....ah Faucet set the run, so we're all safe for an on time start! on on :)
so those of you paying attention (does anyone even read these?!) might notice that we've skipped #450 but it's just been mixed up a little so that the #450 camping weekend will be on the 29th August so SAVE THE DATE & PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR ALL SORTS OF HASHY DEBAUCHERY!!!!
anyway back to regular run stuff:

RIGHTO HASHERS!!! for those of you who didn't participate in the Broome Marathon festival, this is your chance to make up for it... (And huge congrats to those who did - Faucet, HalfArsed, Westpac, Brrrrr, NotGettingAny - you all lapped those of us on the beach, couch, boat etc!!) And downdowns for all of you, for being caught 'training'!! So run details for Monday 10th August: Hare: me Where: 4b Ignatius Crt, Cable Beach (not heaps of parking here so maybe out on Solway Loop or ride your pushy?) When: 5:45pm for (FST) Faucet Standard Time start... What: Bring torches but not dogs please there'll be nosh for all sorts :) on on Inseminator :)
There will be a really shit run set by Faucet from 29 Woods Dve at 6:00pm. The food will be crap and don't worry about torches because if you get lost then he can cook less food. It will be cold and dark and there's no pool and probably no hash halt (although a hot soup halt could work?).
Run - RIDE #436? Sunset Airport View Resort and Bar 20 Napier Terrace 230pm Start (That is 3.30 hours early) Unlikely to need torches Nosh will be available This is a cycling Hash so a bike would be handy. There may be somewhere along the way to buy a couple of extra drinks so some extra cash might be handy.
> > Turf club car park 5:45 for faucet start > Trail is all off road, sorry Wheelie Bin > Torches are a MUST > Nosh will be available > Dogs welcome, horses welcome, somebody need to make sure Horseplay is restrained
ADDRESS: 4b Ignatius Court (off Solway Loop) TIME: When faucet gets here or 6pm (the later of the two) FOOD: For carnivores (if you're vego and here, shout and I'll knock you something up) TORCHES: Up to you
DOGS: NEGATIVE. Three here aleady and one that really likes drawing blood from other dogs. Not even if they are kept outside, I can't be bothered with the hassle, it's hash not a dog walking club.
Park out on Solway Loop as the Court is somewhat compact. Plenty of room for bikes to be gaurded by aforementioned resident dogs. Walkers trail will be fine for Wheely Bin.
Monday 11th May Hares: Late Cummer & Chapped Lips Where: 5 Delaware Rd, Sunset Park usual stuff, dogs probably not a good idea given the size of the 2 hounds in residence. Meat and veggie eaters catered for. torches? go on then 6ish start as no Faucet to confirm time On On!!
Monday 20th April Run - 6pm Hares: Nutcracker, Barge Arse and Fanta Pants 46 Anne St - swords provided St Georges day theme, so anything Red&White or sword like dogs that think they are a dragon welcome (scruffy)

Hares: NN Paul & Faucet-in-absence (ie downdown to be reserved for later, or dished out to someone more worthy who can be bothered to turn up) Where: 31 Dunnart Cres, Roey Estate When: 5:45 for 6pm start - though how will we know when to start if Faucet can't be bothered to turn up??!!
What to bring: torches, NO DOGS (apparently NN Paul's dog isn't a dog person... or a person-dog - we have a few of those) on on Semi :)
